Comic Surge combines all the elements of a larger comic con – vendor and artist booths, professionally judged costume contest, cosplayers and costumed characters, live performances, gaming, vehicles and props, an art exhibit, etc. – with the welcoming, thoughtful atmosphere of your public library.
Schedule of Events
- 10:00 am to 5:00 pm — Costumed characters, props, replica vehicles, vendors, photo ops
- 10:00 am to 5:00 pm — Video Game Truck
- 10:00 am to 5:00 pm — Scavenger Hunt
- 10:00 am to 4:00 pm — Tabletop Gaming
- 10:00 to 11:00 am — Comic Book Drawing Workshop with Justin Stewart
- 10:00 am to 1:00 pm — Costume Contest Judges Score Contestants
- 11:00 am to 12:15 pm — Jedi Light Saber Training with Lion’s Pride Martial Arts
- 12:30 to 1:30 pm — NytroMen Dancing Robot Performance
- 1:30 to 2:30 pm — D.J. and Character Line Dancing
- 2:30 to 3:15 pm — Costume Contest on Stage
- 3:30 to 4:00 pm — Comic Drawing Workshop
- 4:00 to 5:00 pm — Character Karaoke
