The Bluegrass Players Community Theater troupe is preparing to host auditions for their upcoming play, “Gravestone Manor,” on July 25th at 6:30 pm. The auditions, held at 214 Richmond Road – Berea, KY (The Spotlight Playhouse), are open to actors ranging in age from 9 to senior adults.
Chad Hembree, the director of the play, will guide the auditions, which will primarily involve cold readings and following directions. No acting experience is necessary, making it an exciting opportunity for those interested in theater to participate in a fun-filled performance. Rehearsals will typically occur on Tuesday evenings, with a few additional rehearsals just before the dress week.
“Gravestone Manor” promises to be a wildly entertaining production. It is characterized by a collection of humorous and thrilling vignettes, all set within the main room of Gravestone Manor. The audience will be captivated by the antics of Griffin, the ‘gHost,’ and various other engaging characters, including monsters, werewolves, robots, vampires, and the comically horrifying Sheila and Evelyn from the HR department of a young girl’s brain.
