Friday Flicks at Jacobson Park offers a great evening of entertainment for all ages, including a free movie and fun activities. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Food vendors will be on-site, or you are welcome to bring your own picnic. Lexington Parks & Recreation’s Friday Flicks is sponsored by J & T’s Italian Ice who will serve their delicious Italian ice at the event. Other concessions include Piggin’ Out Food Truck, West Sixth Brewery, Bluegrass Kettlemasters Kettlecorn, Wise Bird Cider Co., and on select dates Churreria la Coneja, Bluegrass Concessions and The Flying Waffle Food Truck.
For safety, pets are not permitted for this event. Pre-movie activities include children’s games, free temporary tattoos, petting zoo, non-profits, and a preshow themed around that night’s movie. Activities begin at 7 p.m. with the movie starting at dark.
