Lexington Public Library Homework Help – FREE
LPL After School is a FREE after-school drop-in program at the Northside and Marksbury Family Branches for kids aged 5-12 and a caregiver that takes place 3pm-5pm Monday through Friday. Join us for snacks, STEAM and enrichment activities, and homework help from one of our volunteers. No need for children and caregivers to register – just show up! Activities provided courtesy of CHI St. Joseph Health. Snacks will be provided to youth age 18 and younger courtesy of God’s Pantry.
On Saturdays, snacks with enrichment activities are offered from 3pm-4pm.
Club Z and ONE Lexington
NE Lexington is a city initiative out of the mayor’s office designed to address youth and young adult gun violence, ages 10-29. Much of the work we do is on the preventative side. We are trying to support our most vulnerable young people BEFORE they are affected by the cycle of gun violence. One of our biggest requests is from parents looking for extra academic support for their child.
Through our Building Bridges to Opportunity initiative, ONE Lexington is partnering with Club Z tutoring and volunteers from the community again to kickoff our FREE “It Takes A Village Tutoring Days” for FCPS students ages 10-19! This year the schedule is below and attached. We will have tutors available for free, to help with any subjects. Light breakfast will be provided…
