The Museums for All national initiative encourages all Americans to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits. Through Museums for All, visitors presenting Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards receive reduced admission, ranging from free to $5.00, to more than 1,600 participating museums of all kinds.

Mary Todd Lincoln House

Aviation Museum of Kentucky

Founded in 1978 by the Kentucky Aviation Roundtable, The Aviation Museum of Kentucky was incorporated in 1981 and opened its doors to the public on April 15, 1995. Our mission is to inspire and educate the public about aviation’s rich history and career potential, while fostering an appreciation for its impact on our world. In 2006, the museum was designated as the official aviation museum of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
3501 Lexington Rd, Harrodsburg, Kentucky 40330

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is a landmark destination that shares 3,000 acres of discovery in the spirit of the Kentucky Shakers. With 34 original Shaker structures, the site is home to the country’s largest private collection of original 19th century buildings and is the largest National Historic Landmark in Kentucky. The nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization relies on revenue generated by visiting guests and funding from public sources, private donations and endowment income.

Shaker Village Admission is reduced to $3 per guest aged 6+ and is limited to four individuals per card. Guests aged five and under receive free admission. Guests must show their EBT card along with a form of ID. Admission cannot be paid for with the guest’s EBT card.

The Museums for All reduced admission fee may be used for admission into the following Signature Events: Family Farm Days, Vintage Dad’s Day, Craft Fair and Harvest Fest. Museums for All discounts will not apply to any workshops, evening programs or Discovery Treks. Excluded Signature Events include Trick-or-Treat and Illuminated Evenings.

Liberty Hall Historic Site
Frankfort, Kentucky

Liberty Hall Historic Site consists of two historic houses— Liberty Hall and the Orlando Brown House— surrounded by four acres of lawns and gardens.  The first part of the tour interprets the years 1801-1838. The tour guide will introduce first-floor rooms and work areas restored to the early decades of the 19th century. Guests will see the elegant lifestyle of Senator John Brown and his family as well as learn about the enslaved people who made that lifestyle possible. The second floor houses the Senator John Brown Library and Archives, the Kentucky Made Furniture Exhibit, and the bedroom where the famous Gray Lady Ghost has been spotted. Guests may explore the exhibit and the bedroom on their own. After touring Liberty Hall, guests are invited to see the garden on their own. 

Museums for All admission is valid for up to four people per SNAP benefit card. Museums for All participants must show proof of valid ID and SNAP benefits card. Museums for All participants cannot book online. Please call to reserve your tour or walk-n during normal tour hours.
