It’s time for talented singers and musicians to step to the plate and earn a spot in the Lexington Legends’ lineup — the lineup of performers who will sing or play the National Anthem before Legends’ home games in 2018.

The Legends will hold this year’s tryouts at Fayette Mall near Dillard’s on Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18, 2018.

The sessions will run from 11:00am to 2:00pm Saturday, February 17 and from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, February 18.

“Our National Anthem tryouts have always drawn talented people of all ages,” said Sarah Bosso, Legends Vice President of Business Development. “This year we are also filling spots for the 7th inning stretch “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” performance for all 70 home games! We continue to encourage all fans to come see us at tryouts and we appreciate their interest in the Legends! We look forward to seeing and hearing their talents at the tryouts this year. As always, it will be a stachetastic time!”

Soloists or musical groups who are interested in reserving a tryout time slot may do so by completing the REGISTRATION FORM and by following all the registration form submission details found at the bottom of the form. Tryout registrations should be submitted to the Lexington Legends Front Office via the instructions found on the registration form no later than February 15. Walk up auditions are also allowed on each day of tryouts, if there are time slots available. All individuals or groups who plan to audition should be prepared to perform the National Anthem without lyric sheets and without musical accompaniment, as all performances will be acapella.
