Discovery Saturdays are a free event that allow the LASC to showcase our unique art and science offerings, host free planetarium shows, support local artists and organizations, and invite a broad demographic of individuals into our building.

For March Discovery Saturday, we are celebrating women in science! Join us for free STEAM activities and planetarium shows at the LASC! Bluegrass Green Source and Kentucky Air Quality will be partners for the event and have activities for the entire family to enjoy. Thank you to our sponsor PNC!

April Discovery Saturday

For April Discovery Saturday, we are celebrating Earth Day! Join us for free STEAM activities and planetarium shows at the LASC! Grit and Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation and BLI Learning Labs will be partners for the event and have activities for the entire family to enjoy. Grit and Grace will be bring a special guest, a possum! Planetarium Shows

Registration is not required. Admission is $5. Showtimes vary (see schedule). Masks recommended.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to shows to ensure a spot! Tickets are sold first-come-first-served.

Tickets are purchased in the gift shop (first room on the left when entering the building).
