The next event will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023. The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Please enter via Jimmie Campbell Dr. 9 – 10 a.m. will be a sensory hour. The site is wheelchair accessible.
Explore more than 20 trucks from the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works. Our Fire Department friends will be there, too!
- Sit in the driver’s seat of a garbage truck.
- Learn how the bucket trucks is used for tree care.
- See how Water Quality uses camera trucks to inspect our sewers!
Drivers will be on site to answer questions and perform demonstrations. The road-eo demonstrations will take place at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Attendees can also expect truck-themed crafts, games and activities. It’s fun for all ages!
Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the event. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
