Celebrate National Kite Month with Parks & Recreation during one of our first events of the season with our 2023 Kite Fest! We invite you to get out and play and come fly a kite with us. Enjoy acoustic ukulele and guitar performances, face painting, airbrush tattoos, bounce houses, and fly through the air with Sora Aerial Arts. Bring a picnic, or snacks and food will be available for purchase from Sharky’s, Kona Ice, Travlin’ Toms Coffee, Bluegrass Kettlemasters, Chocomania, Katie’s Happy Hotdogs, West Sixth Brewing, Wise Bird Cider Co., and Annie Up Pizza Cone!
Don’t have a kite? No worries, kites will be available for purchase onsite.
Parking will be across from the fairgrounds. The event will take place on the hill next to the Masterson Station playground.

About Kite Fest
Kite Fest is an exciting event celebrating kites and all things aerial. Located at Masterson Station Park, which offers a beautiful field, closer parking, and better traffic flow – so you can get to the event quicker and enjoy the fun. Activities will include kite flying, children’s games, inflatables, and more. Sora Aerial Arts will provide demonstrations of acrobatics and dance and offer aerial trials on their rig for a small fee. Kites will be available for purchase onsite.
Food, beverage, and snack vendors will be on-site throughout the day or families may pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park.
