Freaky Friday Flicks coming to the Moondance Amphitheater in October

Lexington Parks & Recreation is adding a brand new event to its Halloween lineup – Freaky Friday Flicks!

Come out to the Moondance Amphitheater with friends, family or a date, throw on a cozy sweater (or costume) and enjoy a family-friendly spooky movie every Friday throughout the month of October. Pre-show activities will begin at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $2 per person for those 13 & over; children 12 and younger are admitted for free.

In addition to the movie, patrons will be treated to pre-show campfire activities, including the opportunity to make s’mores. (Parks & Recreation will provide the marshmallows.) Food trucks will also be on-site featuring festive, comfort foods and drinks to scare away the chilly autumn air. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs should be brought for seating.
