Why wait for Arbor Day? Come explore the trees that live in and around Gatton Park! Families can dive into the hidden world of trees with hands-on activities from our partners. This interactive morning invites families to connect with nature, learn together, and see trees in a whole new way.
EVENT SCHEDULE
- 10:00 am–12:00 pm – Hands-on Workshops & Crafts on the Rec Lawn
- 10:00 am–10:30 am – Guided Tactile Experience with Dr. King
- 11:00 am–11:30 am – Guided Tactile Experience with Dr. King (repeat of first session)

Seedleaf will share the wonders of seeds, germination, and how trees support wildlife and communities. Enjoy additional crafts and activities provided by Gatton Park.

Join Dr. Brian King, PhD for a 30-minute guided tactile experience to learn about the parts of a tree from underground roots to leafy canopy and learning why trees are essential to a healthy environment. Meet at the Gatton Park tent to start.
11:00 am–11:30 am – Guided Tactile Experience with Dr. King (repeat of first session)
