Description: Join experienced birders Dan Patrick and Katey Buster as they explore The Arboretum grounds looking for the birds that utilize our urban tree canopy. Since these walks will take place during spring migration, expect to see our returning summer breeding birds as well as migrating warblers, tanagers, and orioles. Both beginner and experienced birders are welcome. Walk leaders will provide an introduction to binocular use for those that are new to birding. A few pairs of binoculars will be available to those who do not have their own.
Ages: All ages- minors (children under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
Registration: Pre-registration required as space is limited. To register, please email us at Arboretum@uky.edu or call (859) 257-6955 with the following information: the event you wish to join, your name, email address, and phone number.
