Art by Nature program
The Art by Nature program highlights the beauty of our local Fayette County landscapes and plants and ways to improve and enhance the natural world. Local artists create pieces inspired by the list of chosen sites provided each year.
2025 Art by Nature: Rooted in Time
The 2025 theme: Rooted In Time. We are celebrating trees that have stood the test of time and been here 250 years or longer. Trees all around have been chosen for their beauty and resilience. You can find a list and map of trees below. Locations will be marked with an “Art by Nature” sign.
Submitted art must be created based on one of the location sites. It’s free to submit to this exhibit, so we really appreciate artists’ respect for our intended mission, which is to showcase our local Fayette County environment. Our team goes to great lengths to pick specific locations, map them, and mark them for artists. We hope you get to meet a special tree that inspires you!
Submissions for 2025 are closed. Thank you to everyone who participated! if you are an artist that submitted, you will receive an acceptance email by September 23
