Calling all animal lovers! Be an animal scientist and delve into the study of wildlife, farm animals, laboratory animals, and pets! Meet and explore the work of exotic animal veterinarians, veterinary pathologists, animal researchers, and more!
Don a pair of gloves and lab coat as you learn about what it takes to be a vet pathologist and have the opportunity to touch real animal specimens from the University of Kentucky’s diagnostic laboratory! Learn what it takes to be a real veterinarian with vets from Clays Mill Veterinary Clinic! View our national equine art exhibit, participate in hands-on animal science experiments, and make your own unique animal art to take home!
And don’t forget to take in a showing of The Cowboy Astronomer in the Farish Planetarium!
