Fayette County Schools has numerous school sites providing meals this summer as well as a few Lexington Public Library branches.

In partnership with FCPS, the Lexington Public Library is providing summer meals (lunch + afternoon snack) at Village, Northside, and Tates Creek, Monday – Friday from June 12 – July 28.

Lunch schedule
Village: 11:30 – 12 pm
Northside 11:30 – 12 pm
Tates Creek: 12 – 12:30 pm

Snack schedule*
Village 4 pm
Northside 4 pm
Tates Creek: 4 pm

*Snack at Village and Northside will be served as part of Kids’ Cafe and include a self-directed activity. Tates Creek is snack only.

No meals will be served on June 19, July 3, or July 4.

Additional Food Available this Summer

Lexington Rescue MissionFree breakfast from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and hot, nutritious lunches from 12 to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Breakfast and lunch are free and open to anyone in need. All meals are served at our Outreach Center at 444 Glen Arvin Avenue.

Meal Hand Out at FoodChain will now be: Dinner (anyone) Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:30-7pm. 501 W. Sixth St, Suite 105 (where Jefferson St. meets West Sixth St.)
