What’s Brewing? Music Science!
Thursday, Jun. 5, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
In honor of our Summer of Science theme, we’ll be exploring how music affects our brains and the idea that the human brain is actually hard-wired to create and relate to music.
Take a coffee break at the library and let us update you on all the latest, greatest music you probably won’t hear on the radio. We’ll be serving snacks, brewing some excellent coffee – fair-trade, organic, freshly roasted – and playing tracks from 3 different artists each month. Plus we’ll give reviews and “if you like that, try this” lists. There will be a drawing to give away a CD of one of the artists we’ve reviewed and a pound of coffee beans at every program. No registration required.
