Fourth Fridays Return in Celebration of LAL’s new exhibit, FEAST: Pleasure + Hunger + Ritual |
| The Lexington Art League announces the return of its popular art-centric event series, Fourth Fridays, in celebration of its summer exhibition FEAST: Pleasure + Hunger + Ritual. The Fourth Fridays premiere May 22 from 6-9pm as the opening party for FEAST.Fourth Fridays continue as a monthly event for FEAST: Food Fight Edition on June 26 in partnership with CRAVE Lexington, and on July 24 with the Fourth Friday Family Picnic.
LAL’s Fourth Fridays began in 1995 as one of the highest-touch public programs for Lexington art lovers. Founded on the principle of being always free for members, FourthFridays are kept at the low cost of $5 general admission with an optional $15 generous admission price point, offered to create a low access point for philanthropic support of the Art League.Fourth Fridays return this spring after a year-long break taken to allow LAL to focus on its Artist Residency program. The event series is brought back by popular demand and reinstitutes a beloved community arts event to a broader public through partnerships with CRAVE Lexington and other organizations.”We are delighted to present this exhibition that ties local and international artists to the Loudoun House gallery through content that is universal and accessible to us all.
