Tree Week (Oct. 10–19) is a national celebration coordinated by the Urban Forest Initiative that highlights the many ways trees improve quality of life, from cleaner air and shade to mental and physical well-being. Life Adventure Center’s program team, trained in nature-connection practices, will lead a suite of hands-on activities designed to help guests slow down, explore the woods, and connect with the natural world.

Attendees can expect:

• A guided nature mosaic experience in the woods led by Life Adventure Center staff
• A tree-inspired craft station at the pavilion with projects for kids and adults
• Time to meet staff, explore the pavilion, and enjoy the property’s seasonal beauty
• Complimentary snacks provided by Estepp Energy

“Engaging with nature is central to our mission at Life Adventure Center,” said Program Facilitator, Alex Huellemeir. “Through exploring, creating, and discovering outdoors, participants build lasting memories that strengthen their resilience.”

Life Adventure Center staff members Megan Patrick along with Alex Huellemeir are available for interviews and on-site media access during the event. Media are welcome and encouraged to attend.

“This event is for families, neighbors, and anyone who wants to slow down for a few moments outside, and we’re thrilled to welcome everyone to the property,” Executive Director Julie Breitigan added.
