Save the date! For 2026 we’re proud to announce the Bluegrass Bock Fest on Saturday May 9th from 3-8 at Charles Young Park, the springtime sister event to Parktoberfest. We’ll be kicking off Lexington Craft Beer week with locally brewed beers (and BOCK beers, too!), local sausages, live music, goat races and more!
Yup, we’ll be “racing” Kentucky Proud goats on an all-grass track in the park! BLEET!
Just like Parktoberfest, Lexington breweries (plus cidery & sake-house!) will be set up pouring at tents around the park! We’ll have special edition VisitLex Bock Fest stainless steel 20oz cups for sale, there will be plenty of food trucks to patronize, kids activities and bluegrass bands! Free to attend!
Mark your calendars now, and don’t miss out on the very first BLUEGRASS BOCK FEST!
Cheers to Visit Lex & the Brewgrass Trail for presenting the Bluegrass Bock Fest, and special thanks to our sponsors AWG, Kentucky State University, Craft Brew Prints, Ale-8-One, Critchfield Meats Family Market, & Dever Golf Cars! Plus, an extra special cheers to the Knight Foundation & Blue Grass Community Foundation for helping support this event along the Town Branch Commons!
MAY 9th, y’all!
Our goal is to create a locally-powered free-to-attend event that highlights our green spaces, the Lexington brewery scene, small businesses and local music – alongside family-friendly activities and a lively atmosphere open to all!
About Parktoberfest: in September of 2025, we hosted Parktoberfest alongside Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate to bring together our Lexington brewing community, local vendors, and music scene to celebrate parks! We’re excited to bring this people-powered Oktoberfest style event back in 2026 on October 3rd.
