Join us for a full week of free hands-on creativity, high-energy games, music, and STEAM discovery. Drop in for an hour or stay all day—there’s always something happening around every corner of the park. Additionally, visitors can enjoy our book cart, lawn games, water play, adventure playground, and food and drink specials at The Boxcar Café. Please note, Spring Break at Gatton Park is not a drop-off event. Caregivers must stay with their children. Large groups, including schools and daycares, are required to complete the Field Trip & Group Request Form in advance due to event capacity limits.
Musical Journey Immerse yourself in song, rhythm, and motion through hands-on instrument exploration and physics.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Tales & Tunes Cara Coppola will lead a multi-sensory musical storytelling experience of the children’s book M is for Melody by Kathy-jo Wargin, followed by a craft.
12:00 PM – 01:00 PM | STEAM Lab Explore vibration, pitch, and the science of sound by playing guitars, loopers, cellos, and more with Cara Coppola.
