Celebrate National Kite Month with Parks & Recreation during one of our first events of the season with Kite Fest – an exciting event celebrating kites and all things aerial! We invite you to get out and play and come fly a kite with us. Enjoy acoustic ukulele and guitar performances, face painting, airbrush tattoos, bounce houses, and more. Bring a picnic, snacks, or purchase food, available from some of Lexington’s best food trucks!
Don’t have a kite? No worries, kites will be available for purchase onsite.
Parking is across from the fairgrounds. Kite Fest is held on the hill next to the Masterson Station playground.

Food, beverage, and snack vendors will be on-site throughout the day or families may pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park.
