What do Boston elites, a black kid from Arkansas, and a Bohemian on vacation in rural Iowa have in common? They were all making American music in 1893! Come hear the variety and energy of the music scene in nineteenth century U.S.A., featuring popular, patriotic, and art music including a string quintet written in the middle of nowhere. And on top of that we have paintings by Lexington artist Bonnie Klein, inspired by the program. Join us for our first-ever Amadeus Lex event!
