Safe Sitter is a medically accurate instructional program designed for boys and girls 11 to 14 years old. The immediate goal of Safe Sitter is to reduce the number of preventable deaths among children being cared for by babysitters.

Dates and Times
PLEASE NOTE: Online registration will close the week prior to class.
To become a safe sitter, students are required to pass a rigorous written and practical exam. A graduation ceremony is held the last 20 minutes of class, and all parents are encouraged to attend. Pre-payment of $85 is required before the class meets. Cost includes materials and a babysitting bag. A confirmation letter will be sent with class time, date location and parking instructions upon receipt of your form and payment. NOTE: When you receive your credit card statement it will say this charge is from Central Baptist Hospital.
Classes are held at HealthwoRx, Baptist Health Lexington’s Fitness and Wellness Center, located at 161 Lexington Green Mall. Please have your child bring a sack lunch. We do have drink machines and refrigeration.
