DESCRIPTION:Come out to Gatton Park this Sunday\, July 19 for a day of free
 \, family-friendly activities that focus on water in our community.\n\nWat
 er for Life takes place on Sunday\, July 19\, from 1 – 4 p.m. at Gatton 
 Park\, 795 Manchester Street. We invite the community to learn about water
 \, our most precious resource\, at Lexington’s newest downtown park. You
  can even see Lexington’s original water source\, Town Branch Creek\, ru
 nning through the park. Join us for education booths with games and giveaw
 ays\, Next Round Brewing\, and even a firetruck! There is something for ev
 eryone to enjoy.\nWater for Life is held as part of the Kentucky-Tennessee
  Water Professionals Conference\, where over 2\,000 water professionals wi
 ll meet in Lexington to learn about drinking water\, wastewater and stormw
 ater issues that affect their communities. To give back to the community\,
  the Young Professionals Committee invites local families to join us for a
 n afternoon of fun\, water-focused activities.\n\nThis event and conferenc
 e were made possible by the host utilities\, Lexington’s Division of Wat
 er Quality and Kentucky American Water\, along with sponsors and exhibitor
 s\, presenters and the volunteer planning committee. It’s a tremendous t
 eam effort\, and we are so grateful for everyone who plays a role in creat
 ing and bringing this conference and Water for Life to Lexington.
