DESCRIPTION:\nTruck-a-Palooza\, the city’s annual touch-a-truck event\, i
 s back and will be held on Saturday\, June 7\, 2025\, between 10 a.m. and 
 noon at Fredrick Douglass High School. This event is open to all ages and 
 is free to the public.\n\n\n\nJune 7 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (sensory/quiet ti

 iew more than 20 city trucks\, including units from the Department of Envi
 ronmental Quality and Public Works and the Fire Department.\n\n\n\n\nSit i
 n the driver’s seat of a garbage truck.\n\n\n\nLearn how the bucket truc
 ks is used for tree care.\n\n\n\nSee how Water Quality uses camera trucks 
 to inspect our sewers!\n\n\n\nCome check out the view from the driver’s 
 seat of a Waste Management truck and learn how the department uses a bucke
 t truck.\n\n\n\nDrivers will be on hand to answer questions\, and some wil
 l be performing live “road-eo” demonstrations.\n\n\n\n\nIn addition to
  the trucks\, Truck-a-Palooza will feature a scavenger hunt\, kids’ acti
 vities\, games and more. (2024)\n\n\n\nPick up an event passport on your w
 ay in and collect stamps to earn a prize. Toy trucks\, bubble wands and ot
 her giveaways will thrill the littlest visitors. Food available for purcha
 se includes pancakes\, burgers\, hot dogs\, chips\, shaved ice and more.\n
