DESCRIPTION:The City of Lexington is hosting its first ever StreetFest on S
 aturday\, May 14\, 2022\, between 1 and 4 p.m. StreetFest is intended to c
 elebrate warm weather\, physical activity and streets as shared\, public s
 paces. It is modeled on the Second Sunday events that took place a decade 
 ago\, promoting health and wellness.\n\nIn a similar spirit to these past 
 events\, the city will close Oliver Lewis Way between High Street and Broa
 dway\, to allow the public to bike\, scoot\, skate\, jog or walk freely on
  the mile-long car-free loop.\n\nThis family-friendly event will include 
 a bounce house\, giant bubbles\, sidewalk chalk\, hula hoops and more.
  Free bike tune-ups will be available.\n\nDogs are welcome\, but they must
  be ​on a non-retractable leash.\n\nFood and drink will be available f
 or purchase from Cotton and Cone\, Eddie's Roasted Corn\, Lexington Brewin
 g &amp\; Distilling Co.\, Nathan's Taqueria\, Sav's Chill and West Sixth B
 rewing.\n\nYouth bikes will be available to check out from the city on a f
 irst-come\, first-serve basis.
