SUMMARY:St. Patrick's Day Festival and Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Festival\nThe celebration begins at 10:45 a.m. with the “
 Blessing of the Keg” at the Alltech tents at the Robert F. Stephens Cour
 thouse\, which kicks off a free festival with entertainment from Irish dan
 cers and musicians\, as well as food and craft vendors from throughout the
  region. The parade begins at 1 p.m. on Main Street.\n\n\nThe Shamrock Shu
 ffle\nKick off the running season at the 17th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 3K\,
  presented by Stantec! Take part in this St. Patrick’s Day tradition by 
 joining the in-person race at Fasig-Tipton on March 18\, 2023 or by comple
 ting a virtual race from anywhere\, March 11 – March 31\, 2023. Like alw
 ays\, we shuffle for shelter! Net proceeds benefit Lexington Habitat for H
 umanity.\n\nThe Parade\n\nThe St. Patrick’s parade is the longest-runnin
 g citywide civic event in Lexington. We look forward to continuing the tra
 dition and welcoming people to downtown Lexington this year.  The parade 
 kicks off at 1 pm.\n\nThe Lexington Division of Parks and Recreation pro
 duces the annual parade and festival with community support from local bu
 sinesses and cultural organizations
