DESCRIPTION:Nature Hop is a way for citizens to enjoy the natural areas of 
 Fayette County. Participation in most Nature Hop activities is free and op
 en to the public.\n\nNature Hop is designed to:\n\n 	Raise awareness of na
 ture in our urban environment\;\n 	Encourage Lexingtonians and their visit
 ors to experience natural spaces in new ways\;\n 	Publicize natural areas
  in Lexington that can serve for passive recreation\n\nNature Hop is back!
  The 2021 event will be held across two days: a day full of preview activ
 ities on Saturday\, September 18\, with the main event on Sunday\, Septe
 mber 19. (Rain date: Sunday\, September 26)\n\nNature Hop is focused on g
 etting people outside to enjoy the variety of green spaces found throughou
 t Fayette County and to experience these spaces in new ways. Nature Hop e
 vents will take place throughout the day\, in order to allow participants 
 to join in multiple activities.\nSaturday\, September 18\nAll day:  Explo
 re Karst! - Journey with water on the Race the Trace Tour and see where 
 Lexington connects underground. Take the virtual tour or venture out and v
 isit the tour stops in person.\n\nAll day:  Plant ID Apps for Beginners 
 - Learn about the plants and insects around you in this virtual event. Pa
 rticipants with smartphones should download the iNaturalist or Seek apps.\
 n\n10 – 11 a.m.: Junior Naturalist - Seeds - McConnell Springs Park - 
 pre-registration required\n\n10 – 11:30 a.m.: Monarch Butterfly Tagging
