DESCRIPTION:\nDuring the LexArts HOP\, thousands of locals and visitors ali
 ke converge on downtown Lexington to celebrate art throughout the evening 
 with new gallery exhibitions and special arts events. With dozens of galle
 ries and non-traditional exhibit spaces\, the LexArts HOP is arguably Lexi
 ngton's most anticipated visual arts celebration\, and it happens on the t
 hird Friday of every other month.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n2025 Dates\n\n\n\nJAN 17

 ight\, eagerly anticipated\, enthusiastically attended\, a choose-your-own
 -adventure event designed to put you in the rooms with a stimulating cross
 -section of local visual art.\n\n\n\nOn HOP night\, dozens of galleries\, 
 museums\, artists’ studios\, and creative spaces conventional-and-un\, c
 ollectively throw open their doors. And everyone\, from seasoned Hoppers t
 o arts newbies to just-lookers\, to collectors\, to people simply wanting 
 to make the scene\, is welcome to wander in.\n\n\n\nHOP has something for 
 locals and visitors alike. A chance to encounter the visual arts up close 
 and personal. To expand horizons\, cultivate taste\, open eyes and minds. 
 To browse venue after venue of unique\, affordable works in a dizzying spe
 ctrum of media\, materials and genres. To socialize with friends and stran
 gers. To put faces to the artists who envision and create these works. And
  to maybe start a new collection or add the perfect piece to an existing o
 ne.\n\n\n\nHOP happens six times a year\, because it’s more than even th
 e most ambitious can take in on a single Friday night. And because Lexingt
 on’s vibrant visual arts scene never stands still — new exhibitions an
 d new sites rotate in and out of an ever-changing roster — there’s alw
 ays something new to experience.\n\n\n\nSome HOP sites are pop-ups\, but m
 any have regular hours that you can find in the OFFICIAL HOP GUIDE.\n\n\n\
 nOfficial HOP Guides will be available at LexArts on Mill\, 161 N. Mill 
 and at all participating sites.\n
