DESCRIPTION:Register for River Sweep\n\nEach June\, volunteers are invited 
 to help clean up litter and trash from the 12 miles of the Kentucky River 
 that touch Fayette County. It's a great opportunity to see the river up cl
 ose and start the summer with a clean environment.\n\nThis event is sponso
 red by City of Lexington and the Kentucky River Authority.\n\nNote: If you
  have a kayak or canoe\, bring it! We will have canoes for folks to use\,
  but the more folks who bring their own\, the faster everyone can get in t
 he water.
