DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe schedule has been set for Kentucky Football Fan Day
 \, presented by Big O Tires\, which will take place on Saturda
 y\, Aug. 6.\n\n \n\nThe main attraction for the popular annual event will 
 be an open practice on the practice fields at the Joe Craft Football Tra
 ining Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET.\n\n \n\nFan Day is open to t
 he public and admission is free. Free parking will be available in the blu
 e lot at Kroger Field. Fans can begin entering the facility at 10 a.m. at 
 the practice field gate in the plaza outside Gate 12 of Kroger Field.\n\n 
 \n\nFans will be asked to stay behind the rope line on the perimeter of th
 e practice field\, which will be controlled by UK event management staff.\
 n\n \n\nFan Day will also feature a call to action for fans to consider a 
 contribution to the Red Cross to support people affected by the floods i
 n Kentucky. Donations enable the Red Cross to prepare for\, respond to an
 d help people recover from the disaster. Signs with QR codes to the donat
 ion page will be posted throughout the facility.\n\n \n\nFree Kentucky fo
 otball posters for the 2022 season presented by Kroger will be avail
 able at Fan Day. The UK Bookstore will be selling UK merchandise in th
 e plaza as well.\n\n \n\nFans can take photos with UK’s trophies from th
 e Wildcats’ four consecutive bowl game victories\, plus the Governor’s
  Cup throughout the day.\n\n \n\nThose in attendance are reminded to consi
 der the latest health and safety protocols on the UK campus. Prizes wil
 l be awarded throughout the event. Players and coaches will also have the 
 opportunity to throw mini footballs and other prizes to those in attendanc
 e at the conclusion of practice.\n\n \n\nUK’s ticket sales staff will 
 be on hand to discuss ticket packages for the 2022 season with interested
  fans.\n\n \n\nUK concessions will sell pre-packaged snacks and bottled 
 water.\n\n \n\nFan Day will take place the first Saturday of fall ca
 mp\, the official start of preparations for the 2022 season. The Wildc
 ats are coming off their fourth consecutive bowl victory\, a thrilling 2
 0-17 win over Iowa in the Citrus Bowl.\n\n \n\nIn the case of inclemen

 gin the 2022 season Sept. 3 in Kroger Field against Miami (Ohio) at 7 
 p.m. ET. The Wildcats travel to Florida for the first Southeastern Confe
 rence game of the year on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. ET. UK returns home to play h
 ost to Youngstown State on Sept. 17 at noon ET\, and the first SEC home ga
