 cent survey from CHI Saint Joseph Health showed just how beneficial our fo
 ur-legged friends can be to our physical and mental health\, and helping u
 s better connect in our personal relationships. In fact\, 64% of pet paren
 ts shared that their pet has taught them skills that have helped to improv
 e their personal relationships\, and 75% said their pet has taught them ho
 w to show kindness to others.\n\nThat’s why CHI Saint Joseph Health has 
 teamed up with Lexington Humane Society (LHS) to offer reduced fees for pe
 t adoptions\, allowing more Lexington residents to experience the health b
 enefits of pet companionship. Through the partnership\, residents can adop
 t dogs\, cats and kittens available at all LHS locations for just $25.
