DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 50th annual Bluegrass 10\,000\, 5K and Fun Run 
 on Saturday\, July 4\, 2026! The Bluegrass 10\,000 is a USATF-certified 10
 K course in downtown Lexington. The 5K is a shorter course using part of t
 he 10K route which runs at the same time as the 10K. The Fun Run is a 1-mi
 le course running through downtown\, into Thoroughbred Park\, and joining 
 with the Bluegrass 10\,000 for the finish. The races kick off the day’s 
 Fourth of July festivities.
