DESCRIPTION:Come learn about our local Kentucky bats and try out our acoust
 ic bat detectors! May is a busy time for bats. Having emerged from hiberna
 tion in March/April\, they are now fully active and feeding. Many will be 
 migrating to their summer roosting locations and females will be forming m
 aternity colonies to raise their young. Join us as we take a walk through 
 our trail system to look for and learn about these amazing creatures durin
 g this important staging time. This program is recommended for adults and 
 children ages 8+. Registration is required. Please register all participan
 ts attending. Hike will be about 1.5-2 miles over moderately difficult ter
 rain with some elevation changes and uneven terrain. If you have accessibi
