DESCRIPTION:Ballet Under the Stars\, Lexington's premier outdoor dance cele
 bration\, allows the community to experience a night of professional balle
 t at Woodland Park.\n\n\n\n\nAug. 2 – 6\, 2023 (performances each night)
 \nGates open: 6 p.m. | Preshow: 8 p.m. | Main Curtain: 9 p.m.\n\n$9 per pe
 rson (including tax)\; children 3 and under are admitted for free\nTickets
  may be purchased at the gate - cash\, check or credit accepted.\nAdvance 
 purchase of tickets is not available.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Ballet Under the 
 Stars\n\n\nAt this unique event\, audiences experience a night of professi
 onal ballet\, complete with stage\, lighting and costumes in the unique se
 tting of Woodland Park. The five night event begins each evening with a p
 re-show youth production at 8 p.m. This year’s preshow will be A Storyb
 ook Ballet featuring dances with music and inspiration from Encanto\, Th
 e Princess and the Frog and Frozen II. The main show featuring professio
 nal dancers from Kentucky Ballet Theatre begins at 9 p.m.\n\nPlease bring 
 lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Patrons may pack a picnic dinner or b

 rs preshow is a children's ballet and community ballet theater featuring 
 young dancers from Lexington and surrounding counties. This year’s pres
 how production will be A Storybook Ballet featuring dances with music and 
 inspiration from Encanto\, The Princess and the Frog and Frozen II.\n\n
