 er the Stars\n\n\nAt this unique event\, audiences experience a night of p
 rofessional ballet\, complete with stage\, lighting and costumes in the un
 ique setting of Woodland Park. The five-night event begins each evening 
 with a pre-show youth production at 8 p.m. This year’s pre-show will be 
 A Broadway Ballet\, featuring dances inspired by Broadway favorites. The m
 ain show featuring professional dancers from the Kentucky Ballet Theatre b
 egins at 9 p.m.\n\nPlease note: patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chair
 s or blankets for seating\, and may pack a picnic dinner or purchase conce

 allet Under the Stars Preshow\n\n\nThe Ballet Under the Stars pre-show is 
 a children's ballet and community ballet theater featuring young dancers f
 rom Lexington and surrounding counties. This year’s pre-show production
  will be A Broadway Ballet\, featuring dances inspired by Broadway favorit
 es.\n\nIn addition to the children's ballet\, we also have themed tea part
 ies each year before the show. Learn more about this year's A Broadway Ba
 llet Tea Parties below.\n\n\n\nBallet Tea Parties\n\nJoin us for A Broadwa
 y Ballet Tea Party in conjunction with the Ballet Under the Stars pre-sho
 w.\n\nBefore the ballet\, children can join in for a magical\, fun-filled 
 event! All of the little ones will learn a special dance while enjoying Br
 oadway-themed festivities and foods\, musical-inspired crafts\, music and 
 games and a meet and greet with a selection of dancers from the cast. Att
 endees may bring their camera to take a picture with the characters.\n\nNo
 te: Tickets cover the child’s admission to the Ballet Under the Stars 
 show. For those accompanying the children to the evening's Ballet Under th
 e Stars performance\, admission is $9 per person and may be purchased upon
  arrival at the tea party.\n\nRegistration opens Monday\, June 30 at Noon
  and will be filled on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nTea Parties 
 will take place Friday\, Aug. 1 and Saturday\, Aug. 2\, 2025 | 6 – 7 p.m
 .\n\nFor children ages 3 – 8 years old (suggested)\n$16 per child (inclu
 ding tax) | No charge for a guardian to attend tea party. Ballet admission
