One of the Lex Fun Friends recently checked out the Zombie Paintball Hayride family hour at Jacobson Park with her two 8 year old girls last year.  Here’s a quick review so you can learn more!  The Zombie Paintball and other Fright Night attractions open this weekend!!

Fright Nights at Walker Farm offers you a one of a kind haunted entertainment experience with 3 haunted attractions in one location and for one low price. It features Zombie Paintball Hayride, Fright Nights Haunted Hayride and Candyland Cornmaze! Two tractor pulled terrors and one carney infested corn maze will be all you can handle in one night. And if you ever need to take a break then the Kill Zone awaits you where we will have food vendors, live entertainment, horror movies playing on our outdoor projector screens, a bonfire and free marshmallows.

Review

Totally kid friendly. My girls rated the scare factor a 0 but did enjoy it.

$10 extra to reload paintballs. Is this necessary, in my opinion no. Just don’t shoot at the practice targets and save your paintballs.

Dress warmly. We were delayed because it was opening night and they have a new computer system that didn’t have the kid rate entered yet. Then the air guns broke on the trucks.

I’d recommend to kids 5 and up. Younger kids won’t necessarily be scared, they just might have a hard time reaching the guns. The only other thing that bothered me was the leader asked if we were ready to “kill” and to shoot the zombies in the head. But, it IS a zombie ride.
